The National Hockey League Website is one of my favorite personal Websites of interest. Hockey has been a hobby of mine for many years. I started playing at the age of 8.
This Website is very well organized. They have live game coverage, photos, shopping, etc. Any information you want to find out about hockey is right there on the NHL Website. They also use Flash which I think is pretty neat.
I would have to say that the intended purpose of this Website is for hockey fans to get up-to-date information on their favorite teams, but not only that, they can also shop from the convenience of their own home at the online store, among many other things such as finding out information on certain players, watching live coverage, buying tickets to games, news, etc.
